Golf trade fairs are far more than a chance to try the latest equipment. They are the central meeting point of the industry and, for many in the golf business, the most important networking date of the year. Most golf fairs fall between January and March, exactly when the course is quiet and there is time to talk.
I have been visiting these events for more than ten years. Golf is a people's business, and few formats bring manufacturers, club managers, pros, greenkeepers and tour operators together as closely as a well-run golf fair.
This overview gathers the most important golf trade fairs 2027 in the DACH region, in Europe and internationally, with dates, venues, visitor numbers and official links. All dates apply to the 2027 season.

It is easy to reach by train and public transport and is firmly committed to sustainability, with green electricity and reusable stand materials. Top Golf Vienna (Austrian Golf Show)
Austria's golf fair in Vienna is expected around March for 2027. The date and venue are usually confirmed only in the autumn of the previous year. For exhibitors who want to reach the Austrian market and the Alpine travel audience, Vienna is the natural date. Until the new date is set, you can find details of the last edition at golfweek.at. I will update the 2027 date here as soon as it is official.

For greenkeeping and course operations, the GCSAA Conference & Trade Show from 15 to 21 January 2027 in New Orleans is the reference. The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America brings together course care, machinery, agronomy and training, highly relevant for anyone who runs a golf facility or works in greenkeeping. Official sites: pgashow.com and gcsaa.org.
International: Asia
Golf fairs in Asia
Asia is growing fast as a golf market, but dates are often confirmed only at short notice. These fairs are relevant for 2027.
- India Golf Expo, New Delhi (Thyagaraj Stadium), a trade and consumer fair, 2027 date still open.
- Maekyung SBS Golf Expo, Seoul (COEX Convention & Exhibition Center), one of the large Asian golf fairs, 2027 date still open.
- Thailand Golf Expo (TGEX), Bangkok (Queen Sirikit National Convention Center), expected May 2027.
- Vietnam Sport Show, Ho Chi Minh City, a trade fair for sport, outdoor and equipment with a growing golf share.
Anyone aiming to open up the Asian market should plan these dates early, as the travel and logistics effort is much higher than for the DACH fairs.
Where the golf fairs take place
Most dates cluster closely together in Central Europe, joined by Scandinavia and two US trade shows. Click a pin for the details.

Dedicated golf show or travel fair with golf?
Which fair pays off depends on the goal. Dedicated golf shows bring deep, specialist audiences, large travel fairs bring reach and golf-travel buyers.
| Feature | Dedicated golf show | Travel fair with golf area |
|---|---|---|
| Audience | golfers and trade visitors | broad travel audience, golfers among them |
| Examples | Hanse Golf, Golftage München, RheinGolf | CMT Stuttgart, FESPO Zurich, Vakantiebeurs |
| Strength for exhibitors | deep golf-specialist audience | reach and golf-travel buyers |
| Admission | often cheap or free | usually a day ticket for the big fair |
Which fair for whom
| You are … | Suitable fairs |
|---|---|
| Beginner or hobby golfer | Golftage München, Hanse Golf, RheinGolf |
| Club manager or operator | GCSAA (course care), Hanse Golf, Golftage München |
| Travel provider or destination | CMT Stuttgart, FESPO Zurich, Vakantiebeurs, Danish Travel Show |
| Manufacturer or retailer | PGA Merchandise Show Orlando, Hanse Golf |
Golf fairs as a networking and business platform
The biggest strength of golf fairs is bringing together people from every part of the industry. From tour pros to club managers to equipment makers, everyone here shares an interest in golf. That meeting is what makes fairs like the RheinGolf, the Hanse Golf or the PGA Show such a good chance to build relationships, both professionally and commercially.
The timing reinforces the effect. Because most fairs fall at the start of the year, they act as a season opener and give facilities the calm to focus on conversations while the course is quiet. Visitors are curious, informed and ready to invest in new products, travel and services.
I rarely leave a fair without a stack of business cards and several unplanned conversations that often produce the best results. Partnerships, events and joint marketing campaigns have grown out of such encounters. There is more in the sales & guest acquisition area and in the interviews from the industry.

For exhibitors: the fair as a sales channel
For companies, a golf fair is one of the most direct ways to reach an open, specialist audience, especially where the crowd is purely golf. Through live demos and personal conversations you convince potential customers faster than through any online channel, and you get honest product feedback on the spot.
Networking is only one side, though. A lot is sold at the fair, too. Voucher sales are a big deal, with many golfers stocking up on green-fee and lesson vouchers for the coming season. Club makers win with real hands-on experience, where a visitor hits the new driver on the range or in a simulator and feels the difference at once. And apparel sellers do strong business at fairs because they sell at good prices and people can try things on right away. Anyone who shows up with a clear offer rarely goes home empty-handed.

Three things make an exhibitor's appearance successful, in my view.
- Preparation beats walk-up traffic. Arrange meetings in advance, research exhibitors and visitors, and set a clear goal per day.
- Follow-up decides. The value of a fair is created in the two weeks afterwards. Whoever follows up quickly and personally wins.
- Pick the right fair. A dedicated golf show brings a different audience than a large travel fair with a golf area. Both can fit, depending on the goal.

Golf fairs also appear in my book Golftourismus, your guide to golf travel. There I place fairs in the larger travel and tourism perspective, how destinations present themselves at fairs, how inspiration turns into a booked golf trip and what role travel fairs like FESPO, the Vakantiebeurs or the Danish Travel Show play in marketing a golf region. Back in 2023 the Holland Golf Show in Utrecht was a success with over 2,600 registered visitors. The Danish Golf Show showed consistently high satisfaction among exhibitors and visitors over the years, good evidence that travel fairs with a golf area work well in the north.

Yes. At fairs you can test clubs, get free advice, compare trips and make first contacts in the scene, with no membership and no prior knowledge.
How much is admission to a golf fair?
It varies by fair. Some, like the RheinGolf, are traditionally free, others charge a day ticket. You will always find the current price on the linked official fair site. One tip: ask at your golf club too. Clubs often have allocations or options for discounted tickets.
Can anyone visit the PGA Merchandise Show?
No. The PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando is a trade-only fair, open to industry professionals. Most European golf fairs, by contrast, are open to private visitors.
How do I use a golf fair best as an exhibitor?
Preparation, clear daily goals and consistent follow-up. The real value is created in the days after the fair, when you follow up with contacts personally. Direct selling pays off too, with vouchers for the new season, hands-on product experience at club-maker stands and apparel at good fair prices all performing well.
